New Team, New Car, reeboot of NLS Racing

I recently drove for a new team in a modified BMW M240i, built for the Nürburgring in the M240i Cup class.

 

All the cars are equal, and we race on Goodyear tires. The NLS race was in typical Eifel weather, with rain alternating with dry spells.

 

I qualified, but unfortunately, we faced a Code 60 during both of my attempts, which cost us valuable time. Sub optimal but after beeing away for almost 2 years i felt just pure joy being back! =)

My teammate took the first stint for about 80 minutes, handing the car over to me in 4th place (out of 9). After my stint of around 100 minutes, we managed to secure a solid 3rd place, dispite me fighting the very wornout wet tyre the whole stint. in the final lap the track was drying up and it started to apper a dry line. I switched over for my teammate to take the car into the final hour but the team opted for a new set of wet.... well lets just say that was not the best choice and we ended up lossing a lot of time. so we took the flag in P4. Still ok and i really enjoyed the new car and team (despite the tyre choise) and of course being back on the ring!!
